Savvy birders use eBird to find hotspots, but the public and new birders often use Google Maps. By writing reviews, you're helping potential birders discover a location and pay attention to the birds that they may otherwise overlook.
Write a Review
Option 1 - Post it yourself
Login to your Gmail account
Go to Google Maps or open the mobile app
Find the location you want to review
Write the review
Upload photos and videos
Send a screenshot to maps@bearybirding.com if you want to be featured

The name, address and/or link of your location
Your review and star rating

What to Write
Start off with some entertaining details
Examples include: a rare bird you found or how the hotspot is unique
Write about what the walk was like
It could be as simple as "a pleasant hike with a bunch of birds"
Write about what birds you saw
Mention the cool ones—the brilliant red ones or the rare and elusive ones—that the public might be interested in
Note: It could be as brief as a few sentences or as long as you want!
